UL DESIGNATES THE COLLEGE NETWORK AS A KNOWLEDGE PARTNER OF ITS TRAINING AND ADVISORY BUSINESS

Agreement Enables Growth in new Markets and Supports Customer Enrollments and Certification Programs

Indianapolis, Ind. – The College Network™ is pleased to announce its designation as a knowledge partner of UL (Underwriters Laboratories), a world leader in advancing safety. The College Network will support Knowledge Services, a UL business unit that provides safety and compliance-related training and advisory solutions aligned with UL’s mission to create safer living and working environments for people.

Effective immediately, the alliance will enable The College Network to focus enrollment efforts on UL Knowledge Services programs for designing medical devices to comply with UL, IEC and ISO Standards. These programs align with the organization’s long-standing tradition of providing advanced education and training for the healthcare industry. Other programs of emphasis include topics such as international compliance and CE marking.

“Teaming up with The College Network lends our organization The College Network’s expertise in customer prospecting, customer engagement and enrollment management,” said Jill Oakman, general manager, Knowledge Services. “We trust the agreement will enhance our market visibility and increase participation in our respected training programs.”

The current collaboration builds on a relationship that originated late last year when The College Network began working with UL to develop an enrollment process for training programs and enhanced communications with potential customers.
