Indianapolis, Ind. – The College Network™ has formed a partnership with the Tennessee Nurses Association (TNA), an organization that has been an advocate for professional nursing since 1905, to provide continuing education opportunities that can be completed online with leading universities.
“This partnership between TNA and The College Network is essential to nurses in our state because it provides them with convenient access to higher education while allowing them to continue working,” said Sharon Adkins, MSN,RN, Executive Director at TNA. “The College Network is an organization that can help us continue to fulfill our mission of advancing the practice of nursing.”
The College Network supports TNA’s mission of promoting and protecting registered nurses and advancing the practice of nursing in Tennessee. Since its founding in 1992, The College Network has helped more than 150,000 nurses by providing a way for them to earn associate’s, bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing as well as continuing nursing education designed to enhance knowledge and skills while nurses continue to work in their profession.
“This partnership with the Tennessee Nurses Association provides us with an opportunity to reach nurses in Tennessee and offer them a way to go back to school,” said Gary Eyler, Chairman and CEO of The College Network. “Our programs can be completed online, which will allow TNA to help educate nurses while they work to care for those in their community.”
