Strategic partnership advances The College Network’s leadership in providing degree programs for nurses online

Indianapolis, Ind. – The College Network™, one of the nation’s leading eLearning companies, announced a partnership with the Licensed Practical Nurse Association of Ohio (LPNAO), a not-for-profit association that promotes practical nursing.  Members of LPNAO can now receive grants on The College Network portion of any degree program offered through its network of partner universities.

It provides our members with convenient and affordable access to higher learning,” said Shasme Jones, President of LPNAO. “Many practical nurses and registered nurses are finding it necessary to move on to the next level in order to compete in the ever growing healthcare arena. The College Network supports LPNAO’s stated goal of promoting and providing continued education programs designed to increase the knowledge, skills and professional development of licensed practical nurses.  Since its founding in 1992, The College Network has assisted more than 150,000 nurses by providing a way to advance their education with no waiting list. The College Network’s unique approach gives licensed practical nurses the flexibility to earn an Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) which qualifies them to sit for RN licensure while maintaining their current work and family commitments.
