Jessica Lee became a nurse for job security. After being a nurse for her entire career, she decided to continue learning. “I wanted the education enrichment. A friend told me about The College Network®, and I met with her Program Advisor so she could get the referral money,” Jessica said. “It turned out to mean so much more to me and my friend who is also using the TCN Modules. We can study in our spare time and still have a family life.”

Jessica was a bit apprehensive about the program and the tests but the materials helped her be ready for the challenge. “The College Network really helped me prepare. I like the Comprehensive Learning Modules because it seems like they pack the maximum amount of info into each sentence so you can learn thoroughly with minimal reading,” she said.

For those considering earning their Bachelor of Science in Nursing this way, Jessica wants them to understand that it’s not easy. “You have to study the books. The materials will help you. The Comprehensive Learning Modules through The College Network are good, but the tests are hard,” she said. She tells other students that she studied anytime she could—even at work—to prepare.

Currently, Jessica is working as an RN in oncology and hematology at a large hospital while enrolled at Indiana State University getting her bachelor’s degree. Through it all, she’s remembered what it’s really all about. “I’ll be a better nurse,” she said.
