John Johnson was thrilled to find an online program provided by an Ivy League school. eCornell’s Certificate in Executive Leadership program gave him the chance to work at his own pace while adding valuable credentials to his résumé. “I was looking for something to help with my career. Cornell is a great school,” he said.

John appreciated the convenience of the eCornell’s online program. “I was able to study on weekends and in the evenings,” he said.

Aside from working full time during the program, John also has a granddaughter and enjoys music as a hobby; he has a recording studio in his home. He was able to be flexible with studying and still take part in things the things that make him happy. “Online learning is a great option for working adults. You don’t have to be somewhere at a set time. It’s all on your schedule,” he said.

Since finishing the program, John has been promoted to general manager and intends to take his career even further. He believes advancing your education is important and something that can be accomplished. “Education is always achievable no matter how old you are,” he said.
