“I needed opportunity in the workplace that I did not have being an LPN,” Holly Ashley said of her decision to go back to school and get her RN. Holly decided to enroll in an online Associate of Science in Nursing Degree program from Excelsior College® with help from The College Network®.

“I liked the idea of the learning modules and the fact that I had friendly support available,” Holly says. When asked what her impression of The College Network’s Comprehensive Learning Modules™ is, she replied, “The best! It’s a great way to break down hard to study textbooks. It’s like someone took the notes from the textbooks for you. I love actually being able to have it in print to take wherever I need to, to study.”

Holly says it was scary to go back to school as an adult learner, but she enjoyed the feeling of being able to accomplish a lifelong dream. The College Network’s supportive staff helped make her journey a bit easier as well. “The College Network definitely employs nice people! A little kindness can go a long way, especially when you're stressed,” she comments.

Holly was able to overcome her fears once she began successfully passing her exams. “I can't think of anything negative about my experience,” she says. Holly plans to use her degree to advance her career and increase her income.
