What to Expect When You Arrive at Your Excelsior College® Exam Location

Exams are approximately 160 multiple-choice questions.
You will be allotted three hours to complete an Excelsior College® Examination.
You will be required to show two forms of identification, including one government-issued photo ID. Both must have signatures. Some testing programs may have additional requirements.
You are not allowed to take anything into the test center to assist you with your exam.
You will be informed when you register for the test.
Your exam will be monitored by a proctor. Though this individual is unable to help you with exam questions, they will be able to provide general information about testing procedures.
Unless you are completing a written exam, expect to receive your results when you have finished.
To discourage cheating, there are three different versions of the exams. The person next to you could be taking a test over the same material, but not necessarily the same exam.
