LPN/LVN to BS - Updated February 2012
Beginning with Fall 2012 admissions, ISU will no longer waive the English Composition II requirement. If you do not have credit to fulfill the English Composition II requirement, please contact Academic Support to discuss your options.
Since the English Composition II requirement is no longer being waived, the Technical Writing requirement will no longer need to be completed prior to enrolling into the ISU College of Nursing, Health, and Human Services. You may now complete the Technical Writing requirement at any point in your program.
In addition, ISU will no longer be accepting the CLEP® College Composition Modular exam or the TCN College Composition exam to fulfill the English Composition requirement. If you have already completed either of these exams, we encourage you to enroll into ISU soon to ensure the credit will be accepted. If you have not yet completed either of these exams, please contact the Academic Support department to discuss how this change may allow for the exchange of your current College Composition Comprehensive Learning Module™ for the English Composition Comprehensive Learning Module™.

LPN/LVN to BSN – Updated March 2008
If you have college credit from outside of the United States, you will need to have it reviewed by World Education Services (WES) or Indiana State University to determine US equivalency. NOTE: If you received a previous bachelor’s degree in any subject from an international institution, you must have your international credit reviewed by Indiana State University.
If you choose to have your credit reviewed by World Education Services, you are responsible for submitting a copy of your transcripts to WES for completion of a course-by-course report, paying any required fees to have the evaluation completed, and having the results sent to The College Network for our preliminary course analysis.
