In 1983, EmergyCare, Inc. opened its doors as a Basic Life Support (BLS) service providing emergency medical service to the City of Erie, Pennsylvania. Today, 26 years later, EmergyCare, Inc. provides all aspects of pre-hospital medical treatment and transportation including Advance Life Support (ALS), Specialty Care Transports (SCT), Basic Life Support (BLS), wheelchair and medical taxi transports as well as air medial transport service. In addition to the increase of pre-hospital emergency and non-emergency medical services, EmergyCare has extended its response area to cover communities across a seven county region. EmergyCare, Inc. provides hundreds of hours of community service each year and educational classes in their service areas.
